Consulting Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: March 15, 2025
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Studio Kons (“Consultant”) and the Client (“you”) for digital ministry consulting and related services. By booking a consulting package or project, you agree to the following terms.
1. Purpose
Studio Kons offers one-on-one consulting to help churches strengthen their digital presence through strategy, systems, and creative support. These sessions are collaborative, flexible, and designed to move your digital work forward with clarity and confidence.
2. Scope of Services
Each standard consulting package includes three (3) 60-minute sessions held virtually, plus shared notes or follow-up resources.
Unless otherwise noted, the package cost is $397 total, which reflects a discounted introductory rate.
Additional sessions, design work, or implementation support beyond the agreed scope can be scheduled separately at the current hourly or project rate.
3. Timeline & Scheduling
Sessions must be completed within 60 days of the initial booking date unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
You can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may count as a completed session.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for consulting packages is due in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated in a written proposal.
Payment may be made by check or electronic transfer.
For custom website, email, or multi-phase projects, a 50% deposit is required to begin work, with the balance due upon delivery of the final materials.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide the materials, account access, and feedback needed to move the project forward.
Delays in communication or missing information may extend project timelines or affect deliverables.
6. Deliverables & Ownership
After full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for your organization (such as plans, strategy notes, or completed design files).
Studio Kons retains ownership of all preliminary drafts, templates, and internal frameworks used to create those deliverables.
7. Confidentiality
Both Studio Kons and the Client agree to keep all sensitive or proprietary information confidential. Anything shared in sessions stays between us unless otherwise authorized.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Consulting packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place.
Unused sessions may be rescheduled within the 60-day project window.
If Studio Kons must cancel a session, it will be rescheduled promptly or refunded in full.
9. Communication Between Sessions
You’re welcome to reach out by email with quick questions or clarifications between sessions.
For new topics or larger follow-up projects, we’ll schedule another session or package.
10. Limitation of Liability
Studio Kons is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or results of consulting services.
The Client’s sole remedy is limited to the total amount paid for those services.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any amendments must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
